Back from a few days working in Ireland, stuck talk 107 on to listen to Mixu and noted that good Hibby Simon Pia seems to have been given his books, anyone any idea what happened?

It appears they want a station of false bubbly nonsense. A lot of crap.

Maybe the club could give him a position on the official site..

Didnae ken that! Is this what Dominic Diamond left his XFM show to move onto bigger and better things after his recent recognitions in the radio world? Obviously judged his reputation wrong.

Rumours only intensified when an advertising campaign, promoting the station, included neither Pia nor Dee.

This time last year, Diamond and de Andrade were presenting on rival station, XFM Scotland.

I though Simon Pia would be doing another gig on Talk 107, I was not aware he had been punted but a quick check of the Presenter page shows that both Simon and Heather have both had their profiles removed.

Disgraceful IMHO is this is true. His insight and knowledge was far better than the rubbish Diamond spouted that I ended up turning off on my way home yesterday in the car. Diamond to me comes over as another Scott Wilson - another stupid wind up merchant pushing daft opinions and talking rubbish to get the dafties phoning in.

And yes he is a soapdodging tramp.

Simon Pia was one of the few redeeming features of that station, offered measured opinions and insight, a good hibby and all round good egg. Diamond is a complete trumpet .

Three 'radio presenters' that make me switch off as soon as I hear their strangulated nasal whining utterances. Oh. They talk pish as well.

Ewan Cameron is the second, and thethird is a guy on Real Radio in the afternoon who I have never heard enough of to discover who he is.

The pish-soaked element is another decent reason for disliking this self publicising tosspot, if indeed another reason is necessary.

If you find a post with a million commas in a sentence that is about about 100 lines long, then I think you can safely assume it is him. Take this from today's official website:

Very disappointed to hear they've been let go.They were the only reason I listened to the station. Caught Diamond the other day but thought he was only standing in. Won't be back
