having just watched midnight cowboy the other night as well as deliverance i have to say he is one fine actor especialy in these two films. how good is the soundtract in midnight cowboy as well. anyway if you havent seen midnight cowboy i would highly reccomend it. a brilliant film with a young dustin hoffmann who played equaly a good part. deliverance is still his finest film imo ( talk about genetic deficiances ) lol

Hoffman as the sickly Ratso is pretty good but my favourite scene is where the high class tart digs her nails in Voight's back/arse.
The pain on that boy's mush....oooyah.

Jon Voight's a great actor. In Enemy of the State with Will Smith and Gene Hackman he plays a seriously scary dude. He's hardly recognisable from the guy who was in Midnight Cowboy.

midnight cowboy is one of the most under rated films ever
i don't know if any of you are fans of seinfeld but there is a cracker of an episode were they think they've bought a car they think jon voight once owned-very funny

Midnight Cowboy is easily one of the greatest movie's I have seen, very very underrated movie indeed.
