Did you know Ike and Tina Turner owned a fish and chip shop in Edinburgh at one time?
Julie Covington used to go in most nights for a fish with no batter. Ike, who fried the fish, would spot her as she came in and bung an unbattered fish in the fryer so it would be ready for her. One night, Julie came in just for a bag of chips so when Ike nodded at her and reached for the fish, she shouted from the back of the queue....
