As the Xmas time is getting so closed,i would like to know more about it.

i have heard loads about it but i want you to clarify what s the roots of Xmas celebrations and is it really

related to JESUS peace be upon him birthday?

Inform me plz?

i was told also that it s a pagan celebrations, and some commercial sides are using it to gain from their trade.

am waiting and plz simple explanation as i did with Ramadan ?lol

Apparently Jesus was actually born sometime in the summer months but because there was already a world wide pagan festival around the 25th of December the Holy Roman Church decided to hijack the date for their festival IE christmas as they felt it would be easier to indoctrinate the non-believers into the catholic faith if there wasnt too much interruption in there festive calendar.

thanks in advance, but i wouldnt like to use Mrs wikipdia or Mr google. but it would better to know how each one of you could explaine it. few already told me that they dont celebrate it. how do u explain their views?

i was heard that jesus birthday was on summer and they explaine it by Marry(meriam) searching of water during jesus birthday.

A suggested date of birth for Jebus is 6th January. As someone stated above the 25th was a pagan festival and the romans moved "christ"mas to the 25th to fit it in with thier festivals. Then again...did Jesus actually exsist..
