English Russia Soviet Propaganda Against USA (posters) Stefan Landsberger's Chinese Propaganda Poster Pages--Chinese Space Program http://www.calvin.edu/academic/cas/gpa/posters1.htm say what you want about the messages these posters carry but it's hard to find fault with their impact. the korean posters in particular are very strong in their delivery, got to admire some of the art work too. What I'd really like to know here is the affect this sort of stuff has on the local populous, or whether it simply reinforces the doctrine already adopted by the state in these nations. Still interesting stuff (especially when I have an essay due on the edwardian conservative party for friday)

I like the way the guy who made the website is American but has to put a disclaimer on his website that he only likes the art, not the politics, (for fear that he'd be picked up and questioned as a subversive). Ironic really.

Are posters characterised as propoganda really that far removed from spin doctors? My argument against would only really be on the level of subtlety tbh...
Any political establishment will try to distort reality to their advantage in any way possible imo.
