This year's rally will take place on Saturday 1st December 2007.

The muster will be (as always) in East Market Street (just up from the Hebrides Bar) at 16:00 pm, with a march-off time of 16:30 pm. Led by the Stockbridge Pipe Band as always, marching across Waverly Bridge and then turning left onto Princes Street, the march will carry on straight down Princes Street, and then up Lothian Road to Festival Square for the speeches. This year's featured speakers include local author and poet Kevin Williamson, plus others to be announced.

This year's evening event will again feature Fiery Jack along with Albannach - the venue is The Function Suite, Marcos Leisure Centre, 55 Grove Street, from 7:30 pm to midnight, and tickets for the event (limited to 200) are priced at £10 each. These are available from the Crann Tara website, and may be purchased using PayPal. Order quickly, as they are already going fast. A convenient map of the location of Marcos can be found here.

This isn't about Independence, this about being Scottish.
I hear Hibees at derby's shouting and screaming at the jambo rats for having their union flags and even wearing england tops, shouting that they should be proud of being Scottish.

Well I hope we'll get some proud Scots turning up for this as a good turnout is needed, and I know a few of you's turned up last year, but I didn't get to meet you's. So hopefully this year!

The man who's making a speech (Kevin Williamson) is a diehard hibee and some of the hibs videos on youtube were posted by him.
