I'll chose what to do with my body and what to be aware of. They can stick their fancy website up their jam roll.

in that case sign a "DO NOT TREAT" contract with the NHS if the time ever came that you need treatment for an alchohol induced ilness, why spend millions on drug addicts and heavy drinkers who, as you say can make the personal choice to fuck up their own bodies when the cash could be diverted into treating other illnesess that are suffered by people who had no choice in the matter.I would take great pleasure in telling the heavy drinker, who made the choice to do with his body what he wanted, sorry no new liver for you, rip.

I find it a bit unfair to pick on NIH's post, when there are plenty others on this thread basically saying the same thing.

I do however understand what you are saying and, at the end of the day, LIFE is about choices. And at times we ALL make mistakes, though some can end up on a downward spiral through no fault of their own.

I'd agree to that, as long as we can also refuse to treat smokers, people with a bad diet, people who don't take exercise, people who take drugs, people who do dangerous jobs, people who play rugby and weird sex types.

For the avoidance of doubt, anything stated in the above post is written without prejudice; is probably completely uninformed opinion, and possibly just a figment of my imagination. Readers should either ignore, treat with contempt, or simply accept the spirit it is written in, without recourse to huffy replies, legal action or threats of violence.
That includes YOU.

I bet if we all stopped drinking alcohol the NHS would struggle to get as much dosh as it does from the exchequer...

Yes the only people who get nhs treatment should be the perfect ones who don't drink , smoke , eat anything but lettuce , do sports , drive , go up ladders etc etc.
Of course incomers to the country who have made only 50 quids worth of contributions would be treated for anything including over work if they have 3 jobs .
Wouldn't it be fairer for treatment to be linked to contributions as lots of skinny vegan none smokers get ill too

Absolutely. I'd take kids off the list too until they've contributed properly.
