Is it a combined router/modem, do you have to use a hub to connect. Then we can at least try and point you in the way of some advice

Next question, how is the PC currently connected to the modem is it USB or is it RJ45(normal ethernet connection).

Re: neew help!

Being a non-gamer, I'm unaware if all routers are suitable with gaming machines, but I have to assume that if one works, they all should work?

Unless you've got a BT ISP via their own BT Router and have a Mac. Nooooooo, that doesn't work.

But your router MUST work, then how come you're able to tell us the problem here? Or do you have a different one for your 'puter and this one for your PS3?

Have you tried asking any PlayStation Forums? There might be a known fault?

So, if you ignore the printers, the PS3 should either automatically 'find' your network, or you should be going through its settings to manually 'find' the network.

If the network is there, then the device should be able to 'see' it.
