Aye, the support that night also had the sittars (sp?) on the go and did quite a few Ian Brown covers on the night. Strange combo but it worked.

That gig was at the Carling Academy and was made up mainly of Roses songs. Legend

Got hold of the 'Under The Influence' CD recently, some great rare tunes which highlight Broons influences - dub reggae, Northern Soul etc.

The last time i seen him was at T in the park last year, got to say he started cutting songs off half way through greeting about the sound quality and ended up gettting cut off at the end because it was time to finish which was a shame. He was doing Roses songs then too which were good.

Ive seen him twice and he's done the same thing twice.

First time he done it was at the Corn Exchange a couple of years back and we must have got the intro to Golden Gaze about 20 bloody times. Heard two songs twice and only got eight songs overall. He walked off stage(Thrice) and got in some fisticuffs with a security dude.

I swore id never go see him again.

Then went to see him at Braehead. He stopped 3 or 4 times but was superb.
