What Team does/ did your Dad support

As way of an update on a poll we did on the bounce a few years ago under Williamson, where it was revealed almost 50% of bouncers fathers had been Jambos, it was suggested we do an update to see how things lie now.

We have had a lot of changes since then, both on the bounce and in the fans, with younger guys now posting here and crowds almost doubling since the days of the moonface.

To get this rolling, we will start with yur Faither's...click the relevant choice above.

My old man is Yam, although he hasnae set foot in the Bus Shelter in over 30 years.

My Dad is a Hibby through and through. Used to play for them as well Not many games though mind you, when Alex Miller came in he got rid of a lot of East Coast laddies and brought in boys from the west If that hadn't of happened then you never know...

My Dad is none of the above.

He comes from Hawick and supports a different set of Greens, he detests Fitba.

My Dad is a Hibby, although my Grandad was a junior fitba man and was involved with Dalkeith Thistle in the 50s/60s.

Hibernian

I'm currently blackmailing my 4 year old with promises of visits to the pub with grandad for crisps and juice before ER as her mind is being tempted by West Lothian Hun scum

Re: What Team does/ did your Dad support

None really, my dad's not especially interested in football - my mum is far more keen and used to go to Leeds United games (both my parents lived down there at the time), and she now goes to Hibs games! (Not with me mind you - don't think she'd be too keen on slumming it in the east.)

Re: What Team does/ did your Dad support

Although my Dad was born in Love Street, Paisley, they moved to Leith when he was very young and thankfully he chose Hibs. His brother however, although he had a trial for Hibs, was a dyed in the wool Hun. My cousins are all Season Ticket Holders at Mad Vlad's Circus so family reunions are never short of banter. Funny thing is, if my Dad hadn't lifted me over the turnstile at Easter Road, I would most likely have ended up a sad old Jambo as I couldn't bring myself to follow Aburrrdeen despite living only 30 miles from there.

Re: What Team does/ did your Dad support

My mum and uncles are bigger hibby's than my dad was, the first game I went to with my dad was the home leg of the relegation play off against airdrie. The East was full so we had to dive round to the old West.

Downer.

My family are all Hibbys. Mrs Emeralds' family are all Hibbys as well. Theres not a sniff of yam anywhere near my family. Nada. In fact if you trace the emerald green family back over 130 years, there has never been a yam in it

My soon to be 4yrs old is Hibs aswell. As is about 10 of the lads in his nursery

Dad was a hibby, he got into supporting them through his older brother, bit weird i always thought how his side of the family had nothing to do with Edinburgh. But im glad he chose Hibs.
