I cringe reading some of the deluded jambos posts in the Scotsman.Some of them will still be going on about winning the Champions League while they're stacking shelves in the new Tesco,Gorgie Road.

VLADIMIR ROMANOV lambasted his Hearts squad following a 3-1 friendly defeat by FBK Kaunas on Monday, telling them: "You've no heart and the under-19s will soon be playing in your place."
The majority shareholder watched a youthful Hearts side overwhelm Kaunas' youngsters 4-1 on Sunday with goals from Ryan McGowan, Branimir Kostadinov, Gary Glen and Eddie Mearns.
However, 24 hours later, the more established first-team members lost to their Lithuanian counterparts.
Romanov was upset by the manner of defeat - the Tynecastle side's third reverse in three bounce games this year against their eastern European feeder team.
The club owner even threatened to dispatch Hearts' under-performing players to Lithuania if their performances do not improve.
Christian Nade scored the consolation goal in reply to a Rafael Ledesma strike, an Ibrahim Tall own goal and a Fernando Screpis penalty for Kaunas.
Lithuanian midfielder Linas Pilibaitis played for Hearts during the friendly but was sent off for two bookable offences.
His future is now uncertain after a failed trial with Russian second division side Nosta Novotroick. He remains contracted to Kaunas but it is unclear if his loan to Hearts was ever cancelled, therefore a return to Scotland could be possible.
Hearts are nearing the end of a nine-day training camp in the Lithuanian resort of Palanga, during which several players have complained of fatigue. Romanov also told the squad during Monday's address that they must stop blaming coaching methods for poor performances.
The Tynecastle players will gather in the Darius & Girenas Stadium at Romanov's request this evening to watch Lithuania host the Faroe Islands in a Euro 2008 qualifier.

To be fair, a few first team regulars are on international duty..... from Kaunas so although 6 or 7 - 1 would have been a more acceptable result I'm sure that the game served a useful purpose for the coaches.

As a matter of interest, I wonder if it was possible to have got a bet on the result??

There's an idea.. buy two teams then play them against each other, tell them what final score you'd like then pop along to Ladbrokes!
