The guy who wrote this is havin' a laugh

A French website telling you about football grounds in the world...

He got a fair bit of info right about the Hibs, but look at his suggestion for a boozer to go to before the game!

Chasseur de Stades - scotland football easter road hibernian CCS Capital City Service

Try that while wearing a hibs scarf!!

Edit.. actually he got quite a lot wrong !! including the year the club was started.. and he says that he doesn't know why ER is caled the 'Leith San Siro'.. maybe AC play at the Mialn "Easter Road"...

BTW.. being a pedant here.. The San Siro isn't the name of the ground.. it's the area in which the ground stands .. it's actually the Guissepe Miazza Stadium, but as he was an AC player and it's shared with Inter......

Re: The guy who wrote this is havin' a laugh

He says in his smelltic page that he's a hertz supporter. Still says the atmosphere is shite at parkheid, ibrox and the bus shelter though. says ours is better than most Scottish grounds.

Wonder if that's anything to do with the much slated East

Re: The guy who wrote this is havin' a laugh

thought it's not that bad considering he's french

like this bit from the hearts site though

Quote:
The fans : The hearts fans are mainly protestants. Nothing special to say: atmosphere quite bad. Theur main rival are the hibees (or hibernians), ie the fans from the other club of the city.A few casuals follow the hearts and are usually the only ones to sing regularly when they are not bothered by stewards or policemen asking them to sit down

I like this bit about getting tickets from Rangers - "It sounds weird but the ticket office is likely they ask your name and address. "

And School!!!!

# Tynecastle hosts the historical team of Edinburgh, the hearts of midlothian (hmfc). With 18008 seats, this stadium is usually not sold out although recent good results made the tickets harder to get.The atmosphere is usually quite bad unfortunately but if you want to sing a few songs with the fans you've got two places to be:
# The Main Stand , bloc N: this is the place where most of the casuals stand.Actually the best place to be to my point of view.
# The Wheatfield Stand, bloc G: nothing special happens here but the atmosphere is slightly better than in other blocs.
