17" Monitor Free To Good Home - HibeesBounce.com

I have a 17" (16" viewing) Hansol 720E monitor to give away. It's not a flat screen and takes up some space (like this one: http://www.ciao.co.uk/Reviews/Hansol_720_E__5393715). Also, for some reason, I only have the cable that would connect it to a PC and not the mains plug cable (easy to get from maplins etc).

It would need to be collected from my house in Dunfermline.

Jack, sorry to rain on your parade but I have 2 17" monitors which I offered free to any home on here a couple of months ago - no takers I'm afraid.

I still have them but may well be going to the cooncil dump this weekend.

I find it amazing that you can't even give this sort of stuff away now.

I remember a pal of my big brother who, 25-30 years ago, started working with IBM. He's still with them and now makes a very good living having worked his way up the food chain. What makes me smile though is that he spent his first 18 months doing nothing else but repairing computer keyboards.

keyboards lol, cheap as chips now. (i sell comp equiptment etc) get em about a quid each. how times have changed (not that I was around 25-30 years ago)

Just a wee update....I found an organisation that will take "pre-owned" computer gear (they have a "minimum" spec.) and they make up systems for the disabled and the needy. I dropped off my 2 monitors to them last night. (Christ on a bike !! I'd forgotten how heavy those CRT screens are !
