Of Princes Street....Playing their pan pipes and stuff - fekkin magic, if your in the area and can pop along to see them you should. I was walking past there earlier and they stated playing, I found it difficult to leave.

You might be right. I assumed they were red indians because one of them wore what looked like a chiefs head-dress. Mibbe peruvians wore them as well but I thought folk from peru looked a bit like this no offence to any preuvian hibbies out there.

I didn't. Pan pipes absolutely do my tits in tbh. I keep expecting some fecker coming up to me and trying to punt me some fecking "healing" crystals whenever I hear them

They don't annoy me as much as the Gouranga woman who hangs about outside Costa at Waverley Market tbf. If she was that in touch with the world around her as she claims, then she would realise that I've told her I'm no interested getting on for several hundred times and the chances are that I won't be interested this time either.

The Festival has been on for approximately 4 days and my normal chilled mellow no giein a feckness has started to rapidly descend into a fascist all tourists deserve to die mode. I need a new job in Leith!

I know what you mean. Perhaps it was the romantic notion of red indians adding to the enjoyment. I wouldnt buy a pan pipes CD.

These guys get everywhere - they're brilliant musicians too. If they are the guys I'm thinking of they actually come from Newcastle, although they are supposedly Peruvian. They turn up in Bergen a lot, nipping over on the ferry and doing some busking/selling cds. Also seen them in Aberdeen a few times.
