Huns consider reporting opposition fans.

Not nice that some of these European sides seem to have regressed and are spewing forth racist bile. But enough about the Huns; it seems the mob they were playing were even worse!
It’s been a while since the days of Gunts chucking bananas at Mark Walters, which was probably an all time low, but I can remember fans of a lot of teams, including Hibs, making the monkey noises at black opposition players. Kevin Harper got some nasty comments from the Gunts and I seem to recall hoofball pundit and crap agent Gary McKay was accused of racist comments directed to Kevin.

I watched the derby game on Satan TV and at one point one of the cpmmentators said of Makalambay “ He’s got arms like an orang utan”.

I think I know what he meant, but does that get classed as a racist/offensive remark?
When we heard it, my sons and I just gaped at each other.
(Is that in poor taste? No matter)

I just find it ironic that the Huns get to take the moral high ground, and can’t even blame their soapless cousins across the city.

Maybe they are just cuddly wee union flag waving teddy bears after all.

On racism. Not on the fans of the team he plays for sectarianism just to clarify.

I dare say he will be tarred and feathered by the huns for objecting to "the folk traditions" of a teams supporters just expressing themselves which people find utterly repugnant...

Or will they just be their usual hypocritical selfs and say "They fecking gypos are aw racists".

Well he has and hands like shovels. Just the kind of attribute you need in a keeper

PC brigade going mental again,if the huns or the munchers want to sing and chant about events 300 years ago let them. I really don't care. I remember Richie Caddette getting racist abuse from the Fifers years ago. He then replied by rattling in a hat trick and sashaying (good word) up to them and letting them know this was his reply. In the post match interview Simon Stainrod stated that he wouldnt get as much abuse if he was crap. Never a truer word
The only thing that angers me is the duplicitous way tha Murray is approaching this issue. By banning away supporters he is offering a thinly veiled threat and displaying usual Hun arrogance that no one can live without the Auchenshoogle loyal filling their coffers. The threat being back off or you will be the ones that suffer. Tosser

Not a chance in hell of them refusing tickets. For starters they make a hefty amount on their handling fee for each ticket sold. Secondly both sides of the OF rely on the promise or possibility of away tickets for their ST sales. If you say "we're not taking tickets for Parkhead" then one of the main reasons for any hun having a ST is removed.

How come it's only now that McCoist and Walter Smith deem these songs unacceptable ?
In all the time they spent at Rangers previously did these songs not exist or are they only interested now because they might lose points ?
I thoroughly agree with LP above re David Murray

That's exactly my feelings Louis, and anyone who has heard me ranting in this vein has just nodded.
Or nodded off.

But nobody disagrees.

How strange that not a single reporter (to my knowledge, but hopefully I will be corrected) has drawn a similar conclusion, and suggested that Der Hun should treat the cancer within rather than threaten the so-called 'provincial clubs'.

Al, imho we should stop letting them off the hook with the 'S' word. much of what rangers sing is itself racism, pure and simple. tarrier, croppie, etc - these are racial epithets.

No stuart grainger that any reporter will suggest that Doc. What they will do quite vociferously [except on paper and I cant remember the word I want ] applaud and laud the hun top brass for their "stance against bigotry and sectarianism" - "look" they'll say, "DM and co are doing what they can to wipe this out" but we all know that Louis P and Al are correct dont we.

It's something which we agree on imo, but you don't fight the battles you can't win. The sectarianism aspect is completely clear cut. The racism angle against the Irish is something which is far more difficult to quantifiably prove. For a start they are only racist against Irish Catholics, Irish Protestants are part of their self deluding master-race.

Re: Huns consider reporting opposition fans.

why?

you just quoted it

AND HERES THE MONEY SHOT. He has, and its not a bad thing for a goalkeeper.

And heres the biggy. 89 minutes gone in the cup final Hibs are leading 1 o against whoever. They get a corner, fire in a bullet header but your big oranutangairmed keeper stretches out his unfeasibly long arm to tip the ball over.

Sorted

the commentator was describing the guys appearance not making a derisory racist comment. Make you own mind up and don't follow the herd.

And have you tried some chimay yet??

You can if he has huge long arms

So if he said he is as agile as a cat that would in some way being racist (black panther anyone?)

I can see your point in that in the past there has been some unpleasant and deeply offensive comparisons between black football players and simians. This however was not one of them.

It is this kind of mob mentality and band wagon jumping that is slowly but surely oppressing the power of free speech and thought.

You need to drink more :YAYYY::YAYYY:

Oh and no I dont find the gollywog you posted racist. I think its a cuddly toy and it used to be the symbol for a jam company before the PC brigade sorted that one out.
