I loved the post at the top of the messages. "I don't care about the facts, this is what I believe."

Seems unfair, though. Once the argies game died down, they could have given him an honour.

As one or two posters mention, Matt Busby's Manchester United were involved in a very similar game with Estudiantes with similar outcomes. Not sure whether Busby had been knighted at that time or not, around '68?

Stein was well worth the honour. I don't believe I've ever seen a better club side anywhere than the one he created in the late sixties.
