Africa

Apart from it all being our fault, is africa not ultimately an example of the limits of the tribal / commune based model of society? hard to see how they can ever sort it without forming proper nations, instead of the geographical entities left by colonialism. It's going to be a hard job, and I fear it won't be fixed till Bono addresses this part of the equation.

Re: Africa

Don't know enough about Africa to comment. I'm awaiting Kapuscinski's "Shadow Of The Sun" to return from Amazon though. Apparently it's fairly authoritiative on the subject. Just for educational purposes though. I'm sure Bono will have cleared it up by then.
