i'm amazed at how people have taken this "attack".


look at 9/11 and the london bombings.


months if not years of planning. highly intricate opperations.




now look at this event - someone's gotten out of their bed in a bad mood, got their mate to chum them to the petrol station, filled a bucky bottle up with petrol and tried to drive a land rover through a window and failed.

something tells me they didn't do much planning.

Do you know that is what happened? The details seem scant at the moment.

CNN was reporting last night that there was a body in the car - no other news organisation has picked this up as far as I know.

the sky news european channel said repeatedly last night (theres a shock ) that the boy who ended up torchin himsel (can you smell burnin pal?) was pronounced deid at the hospital

Seems similar to the 7/7 bombings. Copycat which didnt come off happened a couple of weeks later. Don't think we can be too complacent though, the real bad boys are still out there and if one doesn't work out, they'll be better prepared the next time.

but if anybody knows what its like tae listen tae the rollin news channels, particularly sky & CNN that are beamed intae european hotels, its a feckin loop of the same shite every 5 mins so any miniscule piece of news is suddenly jumped on an made 'breakin news' a great example last night was when CNN were showin the burnin car at 10.30 here local time an quotin "an this is glasgow airport in the last hour" despite this bein the same image i hud seen at least 4 hours earlier

also it was reported last night that an explosive device was found on one of radges, now it appears it wasnae eh what was it then, a body warmer that hud tubes of insulatin foam pumped intae it or somethin

Seems the major news channels can be as bad as the Bounce for rumours. CNN - First the attacker was wearing a suicide belt in the hospital and medics didn't want to go near him; a while later he had died on his way to hospital. Sounds now as if it was all Scheidt.
