Was at Tesco earlier and saw a young deluded Idiot wearing the new Hertz strip.

It struck me that it seems to have quite a bit of orange or dark yellow on it, so much so that from the back I actually thought it might be a Motherwell away shirt.

I also notice they've now got umbro, off course they had to change because you're unlikely to win the Champions League with a Hummel strip!!!

I think what I'm trying to say is, there seems to be quite a debate about both Hibs home and away shirts this Season but I think we just have to be thankful that our only option isn't a manky maroon/motherwell rag.

I thought they had a nightmare with Hummel last season with deliveries of their new strip not turning up? If that's the case wouldn't they be assuming that they would outsell that? Bit of spin if you ask me...

There is absolutely no danger that they are making money from their shop in St James Centre btw. The only time I have ever seen anyone other than staff in it was on Christmas Eve when there was three customers. I'm talking about paying attention when I've been in the vicinity of it at all sorts of times like Thursday evenings, Saturdays, lunchtimes etc. I reckon I must have passed it at least 50 times...

From what I hear, the other ones are even quieter.

Must cost a fair bit in rent and rates to run shops in 3 different shopping centres. Tick, tock...

Incidentally, Hearts make substantially less profit per strip than Hibs. Ours are also less expensive, not to mention infinitely more pleasing to the eye.
