Who else Boycotts JJB sports?

I do, as do dozens of my friends.

I went in to the one in Cameron toll the other day and stared aghast at the enormous rangers display. far more huns stuff than all the other teams put together. shook my head at the shop assistant and left. It's even worse than having actual hun or sellik shops in town

Re: Who else Boycotts JJB sports?

Yeah, the Huns have a big contract with JJB to kinda act as their club shop. It's the reason that the Rangers store on George Street closed.

I'd heard they'd bailed out the hun financially, in a sense. More old firm stuff than any other teams in an edinburgh shop , it's sad.

Anyone tried phoning the hearts shop in livi to see if they sell the seven nil DVD?

Re: Who else Boycotts JJB sports?

Just bought a pair of Lacoste trainers for £25 in the sale - sorry - no amount of hunnery will stop me puchasing bargains like that.

Just realised - it might have been JD Sports - I get confused. The one in St James Centre

I'm often in that shop with my neighbour whose hubby is a Jambo. My one wish is that my mobile phone would have a Hibees ringtone on it and to arrange for a friend to phone me back whilst in the shop. Of course I would act deaf and let it ring and ring and ring.

This isn't just 'the wrong team'.

IIRC JJB have signed a deal with Rangers meaning that they can stock a ton of their merchandise.

Personally, that JJB want to do big business with a team who have encouraged and become rich from bigotry is up to them - but I won't be giving them any money. Besides, it shows that as a company they've got nae class.

I'd quite like to boycott JJB, but it's quite handy, and I can't really be bothered.

I will sneer at the Huntops on display as I walk past though.

I'm not without principles you know.

Me too, indeed I bought two pairs of trainers for my youngest there on Sunday. I have been known to cough, sneeze or knock over the Hun tops on occasion mind. I would like to point out the shop has almost as much Sellick stuff as Hun. I liked it in the old days when you could purchase Hibs shirts in sports shops. You simply took a Hibs top and placed it in front of any offending tops. I must have moved scores in my time. The Aberdeen fans had an active campaign of doing so with Aberdeen and old flem shirts.
