hostel 2 and gore movies
TORRENT

You currently have 0 posts. . anyone seen this film yet. full of nice looking birds who then are involved in all sorts of gorefest. i find it hard to understand how this made it past the censors as it includes beheadings/ female sacrifice/ genital mutilation/child excecution/rape and scenes of a sexual nature all in the name of entertainment. if anyone has seen the august underground films then this is your cup of tea. anyway it seems like with the original hostel films as well as saw 1/2/3 this type of horror takes it as far as they can take it. its hard to believe that some of the canibal ferox/apocalypse are still banned when these films are not. not that i advocate the banning of films. suppose with the availability of films over the net the bbfc just have to accept that people will watch what they want to watch. I also d/ld 28 weeks later which is just pish and not even worth the download time nevermind the cinema costs. worst film ive seen robert carlyle in. he was good in ravenous though.

cannibal films arent banned anymore dude.
i watched the likes of them as a nipper cos that's what you did. but things like hostel have no appeal to me whatsoever. i like a good horror for the suspense etc, but these are just torture flicks; snuff films with actors. it's a kind of porn. and imho is pretty sad likes.

Re: hostel 2 and gore movies
i cant say i enjoy these types of films either but i still watch them out of sheer curiosity. i think the fact that it is hollywood and not the real thing makes it easier however the real life shite you can see really creeps me out. i cant say ive ever really seen a good horror movie apart from polterguist 1 which ive prob watched 100 times. the teen slasher thing should have ended with the freddy/haloween/friday 13th era as they have been done to death such to speak. but this hostel 2 has taken things to the extreme. personaly i think horror movies only work for the under 18s or mabey you just get desensitised/board with the same plotlines/story. although i thought the ring ( jap version ) or ringu , was the last one ive seen that gave me the creeps

Re: hostel 2 and gore movies
I like the Saw films, only watched the 3rd one on Saturday there and thought it was brilliant, they at least put thought into both the storylines and the emm 'games', although sick you can't look away no matter how much you want to. 4th one is out later this year, should be a goodun.
Seen Hostel the other month though and thought it was the biggest load of shite, your average horror with a threadbare storyline, crap actors, the odd set of tits but a pair of pliars and a blowtorch occasionally thrown in which makes it like a sort of porn for some of those people out there that are into that sort of thing.
