A 'Welcome to Leith' sign has been put up at Pilrig chuch with a smaller sign below stating 'Twinned with Rio De Janeiro'.

When the feck did we get twinned with Rio De Janeiro?

Is it due to both having Ports?

Leith is not listed as a "sister city" in Wikipedia

I reckon this is the local councilors preparing for a "fact finding" jolly
