There hasn't been a decent one other than our own since the huns 3-2 win over celtic in 2002. A lot of this has been down to US blowing semis to teams who are far less capable of beating the old firm in the final.

Examples:

2000. We lost to a DREADFUL Aberdeen side who lost the final to the huns 4 nil

2002: Ayr united. see above.

2005: We lose to Dundee utd but beat celtic in the league just afterwards. Arabs ineptly huff n puff their way to a 1 nil defeat in a pointless final.

2006. no complaints. the gorgites destroyed us.

2007. Other than the slim chance of taking Celtic to penalties, the pars will be utterly destroyed at the weekend. We on the other hand would have made a game of this final.

true admitedly, you don't win the semi, you don't deserve to play in the final.

Yes, i'm a little annoyed at thinking how we all MIGHT have been preparing for a scottish cup win tomorrow.

I expect tomorrow's game to be a one sided effort which Celtic will win without making much in the way of effort.

A real bore-athon. I'll not be watching.

I just hope that it's better than last weeks english cup final. What a load of pish that was. I had to get snottered and crawl hame at one o'clock in the morning just
to pretend i had enjoyed my day

Our players were more interested in briefing the press and having secret meetings with the chairman than playing in a Scottish Cup Final..

Agree with original comment. Hibs have fecked up in 5 cup semis and 2 finals in the last 8 years. Heartbreaking.

these two semis have to up there with the worst i've felt after a football game

the thought of andy dow scoring from 25 yards with his RIGHT foot(i seem to recall him running round the ball when he played for hibs to use his left foot) will live me till my dying day

Once Hibs go out of a cup tournament, I just lose interest completely.

A total disgrace this year for Hibs to go out to a team like Dunfermline.

Hibs downed tools after they won the CIS Cup. For me, the players body language and general attitude from that game onwards showed that most of them didn't want to play for Collins anymore.
