Gas & electricty suppliers

I'm about to move house and been looking about at all the suppliers.
Do any bouncers use atlantic for their gas & lecky? prices seem quite good and their customer service gets very good reviews.

scottish gas have just had a big price increase but scottish power will no doubt do the same ..

Cheers J, aye, they are all the same pretty much when it comes to pricing, but I loath being kept on hold for ages and passed between departments for no reason.I've heard Atlantic dont do this.

Try this site Martin Lewis - Money Saving Expert. He's pretty hot on timing changing your utility supplier. And the link to find your cheapest option for gas, electric or combined is very useful...it saved me £1 a month on my DD when I switched from British Gas to Scottish Power.

They didn't have wires and pipes long enough to run down to Preston, but they said they'd nip down to B&Q and see if they could sort me out Monday.

Scottish Power have nothing short of extorted exhorbitant amounts of money from me in the last three or four years. Am changing when as soon as I can be bothered.

Im on Scottish Shower(o shits)i have had a direct debit set up for £23 a month for the last 4 years.Nice,however got a letter from them last month saying it's going up to £29 a month even though they owe me money!A new combi boiler put in last year which is supposed to save ya cash doesnt do it for them apparently,but what gets me the same envelope contained a thanks for sticking with us as our prices are coming down
A phone call to tell them to ram it was met with stick with us and after a year of the new price drop i'll get it all back.

I will get round to changing but im always on the Bounce

My story:

I had power card meter. Was feeding it quicker than I feed myself pizza.

Letter from SP them saying I was £1300 in credit. Phoned to ask for cheque however turns out I owe them money. I'm allegedly using £60per month electricity!!! I have a one bedroom flat, a full time job, a part time job, never in on a saturday and stayed two nights a week at my boyfriends.

Told them to take meter out and I would pay direct debit. I was told I was really using £8pm electricity so I said I would pay £15pm to accommodate in case I went over the £8.

Another letter from them saying I am £190 in credit. Phone to get cheque but guess what, turns out I owe them money. Am now paying £40pm to cover what I allegedly owe them.

They are robbin ****s without exception.

and because I did not keep power cards it might be the case that I am buying power cards and selling them on!!!!

4 page letter dishing out the salt end of my tongue followed

So you're buying cards for say £10 and floggin them on Ebay for £7.50 , thats a hell of a way to make a lot of money
