Hibs make dosh on St mirren man
Broadfoot Seals Rangers Move
By Stuart Gillespie Wednesday 7th March 2007 Kirk Broadfoot has agreed a pre-contract agreement with Walter Smith's Rangers. The Saints defender's future has been the subject of much media speculation over the last few weeks, and he was linked with moves to both halves of the Old Firm. The deal, as I'm sure you're aware, was announced yesterday and Broadfoot will move to Ibrox in the summer. As he is under 24, some sort of compensation - believed to be in the region of £80,000 - will need to be paid by Rangers. Sadly, Hibs get 5% of this.  |
