what would you do?

this friend of mines has a daughter who is around 19. The lass went out for lunch today at 12noon, didn't return home until 11pm. Now that would be fine but she came home plastered, and i don't mean with a band aid.

The girl tried to sneak in the house with a guy, but my friend caught them. Her daughter said he had no where to go and could he stay the night.

The lad was told to leave and did so after various snogging sessions outside.

My friends daughter gave her a load of verbal abuse and now won't speak. She thinks her mother is being unreasonable, what would you have done in this situation?

She stayed out 11 hours with the boy. Takes 2 to tango.

She's 19 which makes her well old enough to make her own decisions as to who she spends the night with. Having said that its her mums house and therefore her mums rules.

Had her mum told her before that she wouldnt allow boys/men to sleep over? If she had then the daughter knew the rules. If she hadnt then obviously the daughter is going to push the envelope and see what she can get away with.

Its a conundrum right enough
