Weegie Gangsters
Article in the Estates Gazette at the weekend (I know you all read that!!!) about the protection rackets being operated in Glasgow by gangsters on building sites (I'll post it when it gets on line). Its like Taggart!!! I remember this from when I was working there 15 years ago - I'm amazed its taken this long to find the press. They have the same problem in Liverpool.
Here building site security guards are usually rather timid looking Africans on 20p an hour.
