Anyway I had a bit of a conversation today with a represenative of the agency of 2 goalkeepers at Hearts, amongst the garbage he told me was a fact that the Riccarton 3 are in breach of contract.

Apparantely, when they signed deals, they are not permitted to talk negatively about Hearts or the board without the expression of the board! This is a standard clause in all players contract now.

This means that when they made they made their outburst, they were in breach of contract? And as such hearts could refuse to pay them etc and punt them at the quickest oppotuntiy.

The players agents advised them not to make their outburst, as they had done financially very well out of VR. ie, a goalkeeper receiving a wage rise from £ 1400 to just short of £20k! The insutataion was, don't bite the hand that feeds you etc. However, the players choose to take their own route much to the annoyance of the other parties!

I don't actually know why I am passing this on as I will get the usual barrage etc, but certain players knew the consequences of their action. Also it was made clear to me that the current selction polilcy was viewed as a complete joke by certain players, if not the majority of the squad, In fact it had becime a bit of a 'in joke' amongst certain players
