wouldn't want anybody to overlook this gem from the replies to article blog:

"When will the negativity from the press about Mr. Romanov end? Even when the 40,000 redevelopment of Tynecastle in complete and we win the champions league the press will still be making accusations about Mr. Romanov's intentions."

How much damage do you think he'll do to Hearts if he has to withdraw from involvement with them?

Who owns their debt?

He could still sell the club to this consortium, but will they be able to get paper to cover the club and pay off the debt or will he carry the paper for the debt?

If he owns the paper to the debt, they'll be paying on that vig forever without ever touching the nut. It actually could be worse for them if he does sell, he could really bleed them dry then.

IMO they'd be in a worse financial state we were in when M*rc*r made his bid..... plus no White Knight coming to the rescue as well......so after Vlad slung his hook, a supporters' HMFC would probably be playing doon at Saughton Enclosure

AS far as I know UKIO Bankers owns the debt it was allegedly transferred from HBOS for ahem preferential interest rates, not to mention an increase in the overdraft which will probably mean higher interest payments
