Hearts being bought out?

Thread on Keeckback seems to have just disappeared but feverish discussion on basis of back page of EEN - leading Edinburgh businessman (who does not want to be named) possibly leading consortium to offer £30M for Yams.

best comment is that this may just be in time to restart their league challenge

More sinister are completely unbelievable and highly offensive accusations about Mr Romanov being involved in "money laundering" and possibly needing to cut and run - this could not be true obviously so I am in no way endorsing the claim

Tom Farmer? (or Mr. Farmer to them). He is heavily involved in property development.

suspect it's this "Gilmerton plumber" that has been referred to recently. Of course as the Pieman debacle shows, having the capital to buy is one thing, having the funds to develop, run, expand is quite another. Also I don't think Mr Romanov is finished playing with his toy yet.

One thing is for sure. If someone does buy them, they will be worse than the previous incumbent. They will however be hailed as the messiah.

It doesn't take a genius to spot a trend !

I have a Northern Ireland Hibs polo shirt I could auction?

Unfortunately, it was ruined a few years ago when it was signed 'Best wishes - Bobby Williamson'. The marker pen won't wash out, but maybe it would make a good dishcloth or something.

Happy to help
