Am I Missing Something Here?
This guy gets a life sentence, but is able to apply for parole after 5.5 years???

The dog shouldnae see the light of day again. There have been a few cases recently where crims have been given life terms but relativley short tariffs, I believe the idea is that you are always on licence once you have been released as lifer and can be put back inside for any breach of that licence.
