HailHail has a spectacular aura about
Le Guen must stay

Anyone think this genius of a manager will still have a job if/when Satan's XI crash out of the UEFA cup on thursday? Defeat for them is a possibility, as we all know how they like to feck it up in home legs. From what I've seen they are WORSE than they were in the latter days of GJP'S reign.

Le Guen the messiah

There's no doubting his ability as a coach IMO but i think he's underestimated the Scottish game..

Re: Le Guen must stay

He knows what he's doing, and I'd rather have him than any other SPL managers at this time.

I think he should be given a 5 year extension ASAP, and there should be a massive share issue to support his transfer dealings

Re: Le Guen must stay

Where has Mowbray and Chesney gone in Europe?

Where were they at the UEFA Elite gathering?

You branding him useless is ridiculous, Murray has given him limited funds so we can get into the black, then we will use the profits we have to spend on players.

Agree with that.

There is no way that Murray will sack Le Guen. He personally head-hunted the guy and gave him a large budget for new players. These players at the moment do not look good enough, but I feel that they will do the business for Rangers after they have got used to the Scottish game. Le Guen is no mug, his past record as a coach shows that. However, I wonder if he will match Alex Mcleish's record of seven trophy wins in his time ?

My nose tells me that Le Guen is just "wrong". He's no fool, but he's an idealist. Nothing wrong with that, Tony Mowbray is too, but I honestly feel that Le Guen is going to have a harder job turning Rangers into real contenders.

Not that I care really.
