Robert Lindsay's in it. We never get shot of him round here - I think this is the third time. And Poirot. No end of Poirot squirelling around after dead people.

Christ. I actually don't like Barnsbury that much. I'm not sure why it's so popular, Canonbury seems nicer to me.

Anyway, I live in Clerkenwell, which isn't quite on that map. We keep it real down here, as the kids are apparently fond of saying

And I don't work in the city.

Hang on - super gentrification, city workers, Islington... paging Lix

Historical hotbed or radicalism and revolt is Clerkenwell - well trendy these days.

Canonbury is quite nice - I had a collegue who liver there.

Barnsbury is a bit of a curates egg - can be a bit crime ridden.

What is the square standing in as in the TV programme?

I think it's playing itself.

Lord knows. I just asked some copper what the filming was. He offered a preview as well, suggesting that the finished article would be "a load of old bollocks".

I think the telly companies like the area because of the old-style railings and streetlamps, which were maintained by the old Finsbury BC, the smallest and one of the best councils in London. Until they chucked it in with Islington.
