Thank you Vlad

On a black day for Hibees, it's great that Vlad the Impala has reminded us that he is a nutter and will lead the Yams to oblivion.

From the [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register]:
Hearts owner Vladimir Romanov says a Scottish football conspiracy helped deny his side the SPL title.

Actually, submarine boy, it was your sacking George Burley that prevented the unthinkable. And for that I thank you.

Re: Thank you Vlad

They will be serious contenders next season. Vlad the Mad done not too bad coaching his side to the Champions League qualifiers and Scottish Cup success.

The SFA appear to be feared of him?

Longer term it will probably end in tears, but i suspect the Yams are in for an enjoyable ride in the next few years.

No chance. Not a hope. Take heart, the only reason they got to the CL is that they faced the worst Rangers side in years (decades?). And they only managed it by a point.

Next year, George Burley will not be managing them. They will not start with an unbeaten run like they did last season. And they will not make the CL.

Don't worry, the ride's about to get more bumpy for our gunty pals.

I hope you are right. I think Romanov will ensure the Yams split the Old Firm again and this time at the expense of a average Celtic team.

Yes they have done well this season but they wont be contenders next year. They will get 3rd but no more.

Celtic were a fair bit ahead of them this season. It was the poorest Rangers team I have ever seen and still finished within a point of hearts. Hearts might strengthing but not as much as the huns will over the summer. Back to an OF 1 and 2 next year.

Was it not already into the £20 millions when Mad Vlad took over? Long before the speculative £10k a week wages and managerial pay-offs? Not to mention reduced price season tickets, and fictious attendous figures.

Re: Thank you Vlad

He will make enemies both in the Scottish game and in the media with his glib digs at everyone else. I predict it's only a matter of time till he's ostracized by the Scottish football and press establishments.

He's good press just now with his David Icke style barking mad announcements in the programme and his paranoia claims.

It'll all get boring, he'll fall out with the media, and just like countless managers over history, the media will hunt him out. He'll jack it in like a big lassie, blame the papers and go somewhere else to do a Kaunus / Hearts etc.

His ego is too big. If you want proof of that look at him inviting Captain Nemo and Roger the cabin boy to Hampden. I predict his next port of call will be Italy. After he fails to finish in the top 2 next year.

I tell you what,i'm glad we're in the position we are.Yams that i know continually tell me that even though Romanov has done questionable things since the takeover they'd rather be in the position there in.Great, they've won the cup and are in the champs league qualifiers...what happens when comrade vlad walks away? will they remember this season fondly when they have no football team to support,me thinks not

Re: Thank you Vlad

I think Romanov is preparing the ground already for his departure by saying publicly that referees, agents, and the media are conspiring against Hearts. He will use that as an excuse to say bon voyage within the next year or two IMO. After he leaves the scene, it's a Leeds United/Dundee scenario for the yams IMO.

Funny you should say that. I felt there was a bit of building a subtext in here as well - "I just can't work with this corruption, cheerio"

He's getting his excuses in early. I also see something sinister in the plans to play at Murrayfield. "We are a big European club. Tynecastle is too small for our
