Rudi Skacel said his final farewell to the Hearts fans as the players paraded the Scottish Cup at Tynecastle, where about 14,000 fans had gathered.

Hearts took up an option in their loan agreement with Marseille to keep Skacel for a further two years.

But it appears that deal will simply allow Hearts to demand a fee for the player from potential suitors.

"I must leave, but I don't want to talk about this today. I am unhappy with some things but the supporters are fantastic and I have to say thank you."

looks like money and the green half of Edinburgh have pushed him out. Ta ta yellow submarine. Pity you couldnt stay to see it all sink.

If you mean that Hibs fans played a role in his departure I'd have to say I very much doubt it. The Skacel song was one of the true low points of recent years for me. Never thought I'd live to hear Hibs fans abusing refugees en masse, I have to say. However the boy is a filthy scumbag of the lowest order and good riddance to him, Scottish football is better off now.

Have to agree i think the Scacel song is a disgrace but as he really did piss me off i cant deny that i didnt join in ... the other song which i think is terrible and think the SFA should do something about are the ga-ay songs which i have to admit hearts did start but i think its gone out of control .. i wouldnt mind if it was just some of the supporters singing it but the whole lot of them join in and was up town yesterday when they burst out singing it and happened to look up at the hearts team bus and they where singing it aswell which i think is disgraceful and all hearts fans and players are THUGs
