The work have had me on late shifts the last half dozen Fridays. Thank feck, gives me an excuse to be in on a Friday night to watch the greatest show on the planet.

Last episode was a doozie. Geeks had to get a make-over from the girls. [Metrosexual Statement Of The Year/]The boy that looks like Mike Skinner and the goofy curly heided dude were turned into handsome hunks. Shows you what a hair-do and some new gear can do for you.[/] Wee Skinner even pulled the blonde Essex gal!

It is a bit like watching someone making an arse of themself....but it's the format of these programmes (beauty & the geek, average joe, etc) that I find excruciatingly painful.
The (very very simple)premise is explained over and over again in every episode! They also cover the previous episode(s) with over 50% of the current episode ( I ALREADY FCUKING KNOW!!!!!).
When you finally get to what you think is the last episode (i.e. there is nothing to do except announce the result), it will finish and ask you to 'tune in next week for the final.....'!!! WTF? What else can they possibly do?
So when you do 'tune in' the whole of the final episode consists of explaining the format (again and again) and going over what has happened (very little in reality) over the series with the exception of the last 2 minutes when the result is announced (It's always the people you hate most) and a ridiculously schmalzy voice-over give you a recap of the series (in case you are a goldfish).

Honestly, the total edited content must be about 1 hour long and they string it out over about 6 hour long episodes.

It's disgusting!
