In about 4 or 5 weeks I need a carpet fitter to lay carpet in a shop, its decent quality carpet and a lot of work so I need a proper carpet fitter type person to do the job. Anyone interested can pm me and let me know if they want to quote, cant remember how big the area is but 4000 sq metres springs to mind. Will post the exact specs after monday when I reaquaint myself with the details. In the meantime please let me know, this isnt a wind up and there will be a few bob in it.

carpet. in a shop? not even carpet shops have carpet on the floor!

The carpet vis a much Maligned item, I was a fitter for three years no interested though Dub to much like hard work,As the Specials sang,To much Presssure

What war-torn part of the country do you live in where there are no shops with carpet in them? Agreed most dont but this one will (have carpet).

You're not kidding there, I wouldnt want to do it. Laid floors in two rooms in a house yesterday (oak tongue and groove) and that was hard enough.

I've watched these guys walloping the carpet into the skirting using their knee and wonered if they don't have dreadful indutrial injury rates - looks f%^^ng painful.
