I got kicked out of a glasgow niteclub last year for giving Bellamy (who was there with John Hartson) a wankers gesture (i was very drunk,and my flatmate who supports celtic went to shake their hands-hartson did bellamy said fuck off), i asked the bouncer who was kicking me out "What the problem was...?" he retorted "You called Mr. Bellamy a wanker" i replied "He is a wanker-told my mate to fuck off-and hartson is fat and ginger!But still whats the problem?!" - then the sarcy bouncer started singing You'll never walk alone whilst escorting me to the exit.... Have been reading up on this fiasco today and the main bit that is missing is that Shields referred to Lennon as a fenian basturt obviously hoping that Lennon would react and then get sent off or worse. If lennon had chose to call Shields an O*****e so and so he would have been hung out to dry so he went the opposite way to get back at Shields and came away with I have more money than you pish.

I do not agree with Lennons actions but I can fully understand them as it is just human nature to react to taunts and in Lennons favour he did not go for the bigotry option..........

Certainly the first that ive heard of this and FWIW given Lennons actions in the past at biggotted taunts like this unless hes learned his lesson i very much doubt he'd have acted in this manner there would have been more harsh words than bank balance related i feel, also FWIW i believe your chatting shite of the highest order as if this were true it would have been the first thing either lennon or strachan would hae came out an said so i think your full of little white lies for your shite fat ginger celtic player.
