The Pentagon is looking into the possibility of Israel launching a strike against Iran's nuclear facilities. In the past months there were several working-level discussions trying to map out the possible scenarios for such an attack, according to administration sources who were briefed on these meetings.

I expect there are scenarios for a US war with europe. they'd be negligent if they didn't plan for these things. Iraq is a possible example why.

I agree, that's what the Pentagon does. It plans. It plans all kinds of scenarios, this situation with Iran appears to be heading for confrontation. Dangerous times.

There was a decent (pessimistic) discussion about this on Sky News last Friday evening. The view of the experts on that discussion was that air strikes against the Iranian facilities would be a waste of time because the Iranians could get their nuclear technology back to its present status within three years. Therefore it is highly unlikely to happen.
