Scottish Enigma is on the way to a first team debut
Scotland Vs Switzerland @ Easter Road

Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere...

"The Scottish FA have today announced due to poor ticket sales for next weeks International Challenge Match with Switzerland that the game will be moved to Edinburgh.

Chief-Executive David Taylor said "It is disappointing to have to switch the game, but with only 9,000 tickets sold we felt we had to move the match, and we are very grateful to Hibernian Football Club for being able to step in at such short notice."

Walter Smith's side take on a Swiss side, ranked 24 places above them, and who are preparing for the World Cup where they will face France, Togo and South Korea.

Tickets already purchased will be honoured, with those unable to attend the new venue able to get a refund.

Tickets are still available from Morrisons and the Hampden Park Museum.

The match kicks off at 8pm and will be screened live on Sky Sports."

.......

anyone planning on going?

Doesn'tmake a lot of sense playing the match at a 1/4 full Hampden Park. Great atmosphere

I think Hampden is pish full stop. Considering Wales have the Millenium stadium and England have the soon(ish) to be opened new Wembley stadium we are crying out for a brand new stadium.

I have never been a fan of football stadiums with athletic facilities as well as the crowd are too far away from the pitch. We lose a bit of the intimidation factor over the oppostion because of this I think.

We badly need a new national stadium.

They only played them around the country because Berti wanted them to.
They ploughed all their money into that shitehole through there and
believe that Glasgow IS football, hence, no matter who is playing in
the Scottish Cup Final, it'll be played through there
