Brother of well kent Hibby Freddie, Archie was one of the most remarkable young men that I have ever met.We met back in the 80's and it was with great sadness that I heard of his passing this week, after a long illness.
The celebration of his life this morning was very uplifting. Nae Ministers or Hymns just friends and acquaintances, who all new it had been a privilege for him to have come into their lives and some good sounds.
His pals who first met him from his days at Art College 20 years ago related smashing, sometimes hilarious tales, which caught the spirit of Archie.
Into the Chapel....Teenage Kicks, a couple of Dylan songs and then White Riot as we filed out. Spot on.

Could not have said anything more suitable about Archie. Although he was my uncle I did not know him aswell as I could have and after hearing many fantastic stories on Friday it is 1 regret that i have.

The service was absolutely perfect and I know that the family were very touched to see such a turn out for him.
