Usual conversation with an NI Old Firm fan when I mention NI Hibs:
- What flag do you have?
- A Hibs one.
- No Irish one, an NI one, maybe an Ulster provincial flag or a Scottish one?
- Nup. A Hibs one.
- Ever considered it?
- Nup. It's never been discussed.
- Do y'es have a mix of different religions?
- No idea. It's never been discussed.
- What do y'es discuss them?
- Emmmm....Hibs.
I remember a Celtic fan in the Hibs club (Sunnyside) who saw 'NI Hibs' on the back of my shirt, embraced me like a lost brother and shouted 'tiocfaidh ar la'. Fucking trumpet (and not the smartest pencil in the box either, I'm guessing).
