THE PROCLAIMERS Summer 08 UK live dates
The Proclaimers will return from an April/May 28 date North American tour to squeeze in a variety of dates in the UK. First ever visits to the historic town of Durham and four English seaside shows in Bridlington, Blackpool, Southsea and Torquay. Three somewhat contrasting festival appearances sees The Proclaimers headlining Wychwood, Glastonbury (Avalon Stage) and Henley festivals.
Back in Scotland they play a fundraiser in Dunfermline for 8-year-old Ivan McGaw who suffers from a rare brain disease. The proceeds will fund sending Ivan to Florida for special therapy with Dolphins.
Finally The Proclaimers end 12 months of touring around the World in great style at Edinburgh Castle and A Big Top at Inverness's Bught Park. The Reid brothers will then spend the rest of this year working on new material for their next album recording.
