Boag's beer is indeed from Tassie, it's not bad by Australian standards and certainly better than American fizz like Bud but it's still nasty lager! IMHO the best Aussie beers I've had since arriving here last September are produced by James Squire and some of the micro breweries. Loving it out here but really miss British real ales like Belhaven, Taylor's and the like.
