I'm going to go if I can sort out a Saturday off, I'll find out tomorrow in work and get my ticket. If I'm going I'm taking the train from Preston at 08:28 mate, if you have a rail card it's £18.15 same day return from Preston.

You'll have to get to Preston though which is £7.25 with a rail card... Although you'd have to get the 05:49 from Birkenhead as the next train after that gives you a whole four minutes to get to the Edinburgh train...
