cheers for the Heads up there mate. Wasnt sure what Scallans was still up to. Been past a few times in the past and it was always closed. Not wanting the Celtic rubbish anyway, but would like to sample a rebel pub or 2 whilst we are there. It is Irish history after all and some of the music is very good (if its your cup of tea, which it is). my mate seems to have a few pubs to check out too. Fancy some trad stuff and loads of good pubs inDublin have that sort of music each day/nigth. Cant wait. Thanks again
