also i think david dakak may jus be playin it safe by sayin he has no political opinion on hitler, an also by extension i presume nazism, in order no to get drawn on a debate

tho you could be tempted to say that the subject matter also as an ethical or moral angle which i would reckon more people have an opinion of than political issues

It's been highly effective, at least according to Dakak himself. But I'm not sure that's an adequate defence of it. I'm sure you're right in saying that the position of Hitler in the national consciousness of Dubai is somewhat more ambiguous than in, say, Belgium.
