top films thread
this thread just came to me after watching the classic 'gregory's girl'. i'd really recommend it to anyone, great story of love in 1980's scotland. some very sharp dialogue and great cinematography. other then that I'd really recommend the documentary 'the take'. Basically it looks at how workers collectives in argentina took over abandoned factories a few years back and have continued production making them profitable again- interesting look at social initiatives in the developing world and at the effects of international monetary policy by major international organisations.
any reccomendations?
