I haven't visited a large supermarket chain, including the Tesco on my doorstep, since I finished reading Joanna Blythman's "Shopped" a couple of months ago.

A must read book, along with Eric Schlosser's "Fast Food Nation" and Naomi Klien's "No Logo".
