I was just perusing the thread about that talent show, and it reminded me to ask - is this thing on every feckin night - or am i reading the same newspaper everyday?

if so feck's sake. how shite is tv; reality shows, celebrity shows, 'talent' shows.

it's like andrew marr mused on his programme on thatcher's years: it's easier to grasp what you're freeing people from, than what you're freeing them for.

and as someone else said, people don't want liberty they want license.

the telly is enough to bring out the socialist tyrant in me. is this really what people want? this is what we do with our freedom?
